Vi driver inte längre en lokal. Vi är ett kollektiv. Vi brukade också vara en lokal. Vi håller för närvarande på att ompröva vår strategi och omvärdera vem och vad vi är i den anarkistiska rörelsen. Vi brukade ha ett mycket konkret infrastrukturprojekt att fokusera på (lokalen), men det var också ett tveeggat svärd. Vi lade så mycket av vår energi på att fokusera på den dagliga driften av lokalen. Vi har alltid haft stora idéer och ambitioner som vi känt att vi inte haft kapacitet att förverkliga. Nu måste vi gå en annan väg. Inget mer tråkigt pengainsamlande för att betala hyra till en utnyttjande hyresvärd. Inga fler meningslösa diskussioner om vad vi vill att utrymmet ska vara eller inte. Istället: vad behöver den anarkistiska rörelsen just nu? Vad kan vi göra åt det? Hur vinner vi nya territorier och bygger kollektiv makt för att faktiskt behålla dem?
Vi kommer att fortsätta skriva texter. Vi kommer att fortsätta hålla workshops och utbildningar. Vi kommer att fortsätta bygga den infrastruktur vi behöver för att överleva detta kapitalistiska- och fascistiska helvetesom är vår nuvarande tidslinje. Bara på nya sätt
We are no longer a space. We are a collective. We used to also be a space. We are currently re-strategizing and rethinking who and what we are in the anarchist community. We used to have a very concrete infrastructure project to focus on (the space), but it was also a double edged sword. We spent so much of our energy focusing on the day to day running of the space. We have always had grand ideas and aspirations that we’ve felt we didn’t have the capacity to realize. We need to walk a different path now. No more tedious money gathering to pay rent to a landlord leach. No more nonsensical arguments about what we want the space to be or not. Instead: what does the anarchist movement need right now? What can we do about that? How do we gain new territories and build collective power to actually keep them?
We will continue to write texts. We will continue to do workshops and educational events. We will continue building the infrastructure we need to survive this corporate and fascist hellscape that is our current timeline. Just in new ways.
